180 km by the sea
I first photographed Antonia in Corsica when she was seven years old. I meet her ten years later at her parents home, in their isolated mountain village. It’s winter. Antonia has kept her unconditional love for horses. Anthony quickly left his job to shoot a few thrushes before dark. Francescu also goes on a hunt; he would prefers to video games. As for Lucie, she exchanges streams of texting and snaps with her lover who lives on the continent. At the heart of these images, it is only one subject: the encounter. Encounter with a territory, with a climate, with young people inscribed in their landscapes.
This project 180 km by the sea – Youth generations was commissioned by the CNAP.
