The lonely Ones

“Time goes by and we go with, where is the eternal spring?” F. Kafka

The Lonely Ones (title borrowed from Edvard Munch’s painting Two People, The Lonely Ones 1899) represents lovers who meet at the end of the day, when dusk is coming, on the main beach of Tangiers. I photographed them from behind, giving way to their intimacy, towards a horizon that we do not see.
